For anyone interested in checking in on my during the Iron Butt Rally, here's some sites that might be interesting. Most everything will be aggregated to my Facebook page, but if you don't use Facebook:
http://www.charlieclemmer.com/blogger is the blog where I'll (hopefully) be posting audio updates along the way.
http://www.jasonjonas.com/spot/locationViewer.do?id=11 is where you can see the locations of several riders in relationship to each other. Kind of cool for watching all the different ways riders will head out, only to meet back up at the various checkpoints.
http://jasonjonas.org/spot/tripViewer.do?id=2446 is the same tracking site above, but just my personal tracks. The site above will only show current positions, where as my personal url will also show history of where I've been.
Most of my comms during the rally are intentionally one way, I can get info out about how I'm doing, but since the rally organizers are concerned about outside assistance obtained during the rally, I'll be pretty well isolated from incoming information ... with the exception of public weather and news reports.
Finally,
http://www.ironbuttrally.com should be carrying daily updates on the event as a whole. The 2009 section hasn't been added yet, but would expect to see that go live this weekend.
Catch y'all on the flip side.
