Barnwell Mountain - Review

So I went to Barnwell on a scouting trip this Saturday. I really liked it. My friend and I were only able to complete about half the motorcycle loop because we didn't arrive until almost noon.

The loop winds in and out of the main trails. Sometimes it is a deer path winding through trees, other times it joins with the main trail which is wide enough to fit jeeps. Because it crosses the main fire roads often, it's easy to run back to base camp for rest, water, etc. and then rejoin the loop right where you left off.

It's definitely worth camping and spending a weekend there.

I'll probably schedule a weekend trip there in June or July.
